A tufa waterfall in Balda: cold, crystal-clear water and a spot to sit behind the falls.
The Kaghu (Zhuzhgha) waterfall is in the village of Balda, on the northern slope of the Tabakela range. It is a tufa waterfall: limestone deposited by the water keeps it growing to this day.
A short walk leads to it. The water is cold all year round, yet many people swim here in summer. There is a small spot behind the falls where you can sit behind the curtain of water.
Oghueshi, another favourite swimming spot, is nearby.
